Serve
At Sunrise City Church, our mission is to help people find and follow Jesus—by loving God, loving people, and living the Word, from Emerald Coast to the world. Serving is one of the most tangible ways we live out this mission. God has uniquely gifted every believer to build up His church, share His love, and advance His kingdom. When you serve, you’re not just filling a role—you’re joining in God’s work to see lives transformed by the gospel.
Places to Serve
Sunrise Kids
Our children’s ministry serves infants through 5th grade in a safe, loving environment where kids learn about Jesus in age-appropriate ways. We partner with parents to help them raise their children in the Lord, equipping the next generation to love God, love people, and live the Word.
Sunrise Students
Our student ministry (6th–12th grade) helps students grow in their faith, build Christ-centered friendships, and live out their calling in everyday life. We provide engaging teaching, small group discipleship, and opportunities to serve.
Worship Team
Our worship team leads the congregation in Christ-centered, Scripture-saturated worship through music and song. Team members use their musical gifts to help the church focus on God and respond to Him in praise.
Connect Team
The Connect Team creates a warm, welcoming environment for every guest and member from the moment they arrive. Through greeting, answering questions, and helping people get connected, this team plays a key role in making sure everyone feels at home.
Production Team
The production team ensures that services run smoothly both in-person and online. From sound and lighting to screens and livestream, this team supports worship and preaching so that the gospel can be clearly heard and seen.
Giving Team
The Giving Team serves by faithfully collecting, counting, and securing tithes and offerings. They help steward God’s resources with integrity so the mission of the church can advance.
Prayer and Response Team
This team serves during and after services by praying with and for those who respond to the message. They offer encouragement, Scripture, and spiritual support to help people take their next step in following Jesus.
Security Team
Our security team works to maintain a safe and distraction-free environment for worship and ministry. They provide a calm, watchful presence so that guests, members, and volunteers can focus on hearing and responding to God’s Word.
